Captain's Log - 1115
Will be in the Suwannee River Channel by 1:30 PM. Well ahead of schedule in spite of the longer route we took along the coast due to the weather. Weather is perfect: warm, comfortable, smooth seas, and blue skies. Had a dolphin surface in front of the boat and we both saw a Manta Ray with a 6 foot wingspan jump out of the water and fly for a bit. Lots of fish jumping. We have only seen 2 other boats since the Sun came up. We had many close encounters last night with small fishing trawlers.
